Mikael Rämgård is a distinguished Swedish artist, celebrated for his mastery in Realism. Known for his passion for Black & Grey, Portraiture, and Surrealistic style, Mikael excels in transforming photographs into individualized, artistic creations. What sets him apart from the rest is his approach to working one-on-one with his clients, from the Consultation and Design and Fitting Day stage to the final Tattoo Days. This makes him unique compared to other artists ways of working. His dedication to perfection has garnered him prestigious awards in Realism, Black & Grey, Large scale and Portraits at renowned conventions worldwide.

From the small town of Borlänge in Sweden, Mikael co-founded the well known Lighthouse Tattoo Parlour with his lifelong friend, Chris. From an early age, his passion for art and travel was undeniable. Mikael has worked across continents, immersing himself in diverse cultures and drawing inspiration to infuse into his craft.

Mikael’s talent was showcased on the first season of InkMasters Sweden, where his exceptional skills earned him widespread acclaim. Since then, he has toured globally many times, Tattooing in vibrant cities such as Stockholm, London, Dublin, Los Angeles, Toronto, Bangkok, New Delhi, Wellington, and Melbourne, to name a few. Although he continues to travel and collaborate internationally, Mikael is now proudly based in his Private Studio in Sydney, Australia.
